Colette's Baptism & Jack's 6th Birthday

On Saturday, November 3rd, we baptized Colette at the University of Portland Christ the King Chapel (where Mike and I met and graduated college in 1994). We've had Jack, Josie and Colette all baptized there--it is a lovely, intimate setting for our friends and family that has great meaning to us.

Mike's sister, Kristin, and her husband, Mike, are Colette's Godparents. They flew all the way up from San Diego to take part in the ceremony. Lolo & Lola also traveled from Montana to join in, as did Aunt Judy Wuensch (Mike's aunt) all the way from Texas! Of course, the Portland Briare/Kuffner/Noethe/Rubio family also attended and joined our love fest.

Afterwards, we gathered at Grandmom & Pop's condo community room and celebrated Colette's baptism and Jack's 6th birthday (which is really November 10).

Lola (as she has for all 4 of our kids) made Colette's lovely baptismal gown.
