Alright, it's been over a week since her party, but better late than never! Colette's family birthday party was extra special! Aunt Bern and Uncle Shawn opened up their newly renovated basement to celebrate Colette's 1st full year with us. It was FABULOUS!!!

Happy Birthday, Sweet Little Colette!

Colette's 1st Birthday

Colette turned 1 year on October 8th. Ah yes, yet another occassion for me to meloncoly... Honestly, the last year has gone by so fast, my head is still spinning. On top of that, Colette began walking just before she turned 10 months old--my earliest walker ever--she was supposed to stay my baby! She is now doing full blown sprints around the house and circles around me!

Well, my baby is now 1 and has become the happiest baby on earth. You wouldn't have guessed that would be her personality based on her "neediness" in her first months of life compared to Josie, but they have now both flipped personalities. Josie is my more needy one and Colette is my easy baby. Go figure...

We celebrated her real birthday at home with Lolo and Lola and just us. We are having a family celebration tomorrow at Bern's house, who was nice enough to agree to host. More photo opts! :)
